Looking For Links into a Home Broadband Site

Hi Caz,

It is a fact that the way all his sites are set up can lead to many if not all of them being penalised by Google. That is obviously not his intention, still the methods he is using to not only create the sites, but to crosslink/build links to them has a very high chance of picking up a penalty in the future. I have seen it happen to many of the same kind of sites. Completely de-indexed overnight.

There are too many negative footprints involved including:

- The same template/theme on all sites
- Registered to the same owner
- Set up on the same hosting
- Many links from each site to others in his "network"

When/If Google does decide to mass ban all the sites, there *may* be a chance that sites that also have been linking to his network will be seen as part of the problem and also have action taken against them.

It is Risk vs Reward really. One piece of free content in return for linking to a bad neighborhood of sites, really does not sound worth it to me.

Ah I see.

So if they look at all those factors they could possibly include part of who's linking to it, and if you do it once you could maybe have done it several times for free content, so you look like the network even if your not.

Sorry for the question but I couldn't work it out, thanks.

yeah, essentially you've got to think in Google's mind, they'll see your site and think why have you linked to this site that we've penalised, as no unique content or added value, they could determine that it's either paid link or simply a network and hit your site.

Hence why it's a big warning for people to think carefully before giving sites like all of Accelerators a link.

If I was Admin I'd personally tell him to stop posting stuff like this thread as it's potentially bad for newbies and most people who know there stuff would avoid it like the plague

Fixed that for you, In all seriousness though every forum is full of regurgitated or misguided information, devious or unknowing members spreading their new found knowledge will never stop especially while everyone keeps rising to it.

If everyone bad rep'd his posts they didnt like and didnt reply he would get bored eventually and either leave or throw a hissy fit that he's rep is red. There must be a couple of people here that really like his posts and rep him for it because he's got more than most and i cant remember when i last saw a post which resembled a worthy rep add.

I do think its turned into a school yard as of late, I'm all for a bit of banter and have been guilty of the occasional dig myself........but it's making some people look like compete knob ends in some of these threads.

Let him dig his own grave, if newbies are silly enough to follow suit we've just got to hope they don't bread.

Thanks to the people who have contacted me so far.

When you post comments like this you deserve people to reply in a negative way.. be honest, you have had nobody contact you

But you have gained an extra four links

I am now looking for enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable people to work with for joint venture of tracking accelerator down and beating him with a rubber hose. Do get in touch if you are interested.

Thanks

I've had enough of your comments. You've got nothing helpful to say. Just don't bother reading my threads, OK?

It's posted in the correct place and not so long ago everyone was looking for something like this, so please remember it's not your forum and leave him alone.

Yes, correct place, legitimate request. These commenters should get on with their own stuff and stop bothering me.

Have to agree the snide and nasty comments are going over the top now it comes across as just bullying.
Give the guy a break if you don't like his threads use the ignore feature. Constructive criticism fine but lately a few hear seem to be going beyond that and taking any chance to have a pop.

Yes, you were absolutely right. There are a few people that just seem to like having a pop at me, it should stop. I ignored it in this thread for a while, now I HAVE HAD ENOUGH.

Attention newbies who read this

You may see this thread and think it's great idea to link to his site in return for his advice. Do this at your own risk, having been in the SEO game for years I personally would never ever do this and would strongly advise you not to.

People can decide for themselves Max, they don't need you to tell them how to do business, OK? You certainly don't need to make this type of comment on my thread, OK?

In my opinion I just wouldn’t risk linking to a site that is likely to be penalised when Google finally works out that he has multiple sites that all look the same, all cross linked in the same details.

You are entitled to your own opinion, but I don't think you need to air it in my thread, people can make their minds up themselves. I also think you are worrying about nothing.

Duplicate articles, no original content, all websites the same, dubious link building practises. I personally wouldn't risk it, but sense he's targeting the naive/newbies anyway.

No, wrong. I am looking for people to work with. There is no duplicate content on any of my sites.

None of my sites have ever been de-indexed, and they have been going for years.

Google is fine with my sites. There's no need to warn other people Max, they can make their own minds up.

Remember you're not Admin Max, and rather than being bad for newbies, working with me may be very good for them.

Yes I do have more rep than most, and that's because over the years I have gone to a lot of effort to give appraisals and advice etc.

Yes, people can make their own decisions. Yes, I am sick of the digs, always from the same people.
