Of course he hasn't, the phone hasn't been released yet and he certainly isn't receiving pre release review ones is he :lol:

I think the lack of an actual handset is the least of his problems here. If you're just regurgitating a press release you don't particularly need one anyway.

I didn't think so, but wanted to give benefit of the doubt. I find reviewing a product without actually trying it a little bizarre, but best of luck to him anyway.

For most affiliates there is very little option but to 'review' without ever actually owning the product. For a start, they need to get content indexed and ranking before the product is actually available.

Really what they should be doing is rewriting press releases and tech spec and so on as 'holding' content until the phone is released. Buy one on launch day and then immediately get a proper review done. One that includes your own photos and videos.

But with handsets costing £500+ the reality is that most affiliates will simply keep the regurgitated press release, someone else's photos and maybe a video lifted from Youtube. Of course that adds absolutely nothing from a user point of view. But generally Google will reflect that in the rankings and the page/site will get absolutely nowhere.

@ accelerator I cant help but feel people are going to start thinking your taking the piss before long mate! Please don't take offence to that but, you keep making these pointless threads which are getting you no where.. Im sure people will eventually stop reading them too!

This latest dev is a new site correct? perfect opportunity to try out a new design from the start rather than waiting until you have developed a huge pointless sitemap or whatever your development plan is.

You will note in the post I asked for people to help me promote the page. If no-one wants to, that's not a problem. You will note I did not ask for the particular advice that I've been given. You can give it, and I'll say thanks for it, but don't expect me to immediately act on it, I can only do so much.

That part isn't always true, as great content, with awesome custom videos, high end self taken pictures, on a great domain, with an excellent design, also needs a push to get it started.

I don't really see anything wrong with any of the posts... if you keep posting the same thing over and over its pretty obvious what sort of direction the replies are going to go in. Even if some of them have been a bit jokey, there is loads of good advice in them for you to ignore

So for example, you could try Google searches like the following, and start to get an idea for what people are interested in:

I really think you should you should Redesign your website. Have you checked your bounce rate?
