Thinking about selling locally.co.uk (with .uk) Any thoughts on what might be achieved, and the state of the market now versus waiting?
Are you suggesting direct approaches rather than listing on auction site?I would let potential buyers know about it and see what offers are made.

Who would you market the domain to? The amount of work and the size of team required to build this into anything other than just another business listing site would be huge and extremely costly. IF you could find someone looking to build such a site and with the budget to match, the next problem I see is that the quality just isn't there. To me it's at best a reasonable domain but it's leagues away from the quality of local.co.uk which would be the money name for me.
I would also suggest building up a following on Twitter and then letting people know you have the domain for sale, at about the rate of 1 Tweet per day.
I haven't sold a domain via Twitter yet, but I do know that people are seeing the Tweets and favouriting them.
