Everything else tends to be an alternative when the primary TLDs are already taken.

.. I’d say that in many cases, a local ccTLD can be more valuable than a .com. .. and, haven’t seen a real-world example where .ai, .net, or .crypto outweighs the power of .com.

.io domains are not a safe at the moment, (the Chagos Island) running .io will be transfered back to Mauritius, its not sure what will happen, maybe nothing but i would not invest big into this tld at the moment...
