Hi,

I have spent ages updating Domain Prices so if you haven't been there in a while it may be worth a look.

If anyone has any Acorn forum sales i can publish, please let me know the details or any others.

.org.uk still seems to be gaining value.

To save you some time couldn' t you create/buy an automated script that would collect data from domainlore, ND and Sedo and publish it on your site for you?

Just a thought!

Nice work Admin, thanks!

I love the old school Sedo banner on that page

Some of the sales on the banner are properly eye popping...

Sold.co.uk - sold for £1,000 ??? Hell of a profit for someone!

Thanks for taking the time to update the prices. I'll found myself checking it frequently, to try to better understand the market, and keep up to speed with the latest sales.

Well I'd love that, if anyone can help me to get there, especially the Sedo auctions as they are a pain to add. The categorisation is the tedious part, and I have a lot still to do.

I have a special agreement with Sedo whereby they send me unpublished sales so I get to post things not shown on their homepage. Their UK Sales RSS feed of "latest sales" has sales in it from 2006 so I don't trust that much.

For Domain Lore, I don't publish every sale as it's a domain traders site I tend to show the higher value ones as I want to show UK domain end-user prices really.

Thanks for your input.

Is the site custom coded? I might be able to offer a little bit of time, I really appreciate the site.

Some sort of Crowd sourcing the categorisation might be possible to save admin time?

Its basically a MySQL DB with a PHP front end that I have customised.

I have written my own input pages to add domains one by one (with drop downs for currency, category, etc.)

I can show you behind the scenes if that helps.

Do you mean sales that Sedo themselves are keeping confidential? That sounds strange if so. For instance, I have a standing agreement with them that they would never publicise my sales - would they end up on DomainPrices.co.uk?

Great work Admin .. i found myself checking some of the more high profile names to see what happened to them some very good names remain un-developed which disappoints me a little ... such as ..

Mobile .. Employment .. Time .. Stationary .. lots more

Well done Admin

That is a great site, really glad the price of .org.uk's is rising, I have aquired quite a few over the last few months

Thanks again
Leon

How do sedo provide the data? Would you say it's machine readable, comma separated, xml, excel, etc? I'd have a crack at some sort of import script if so.

Hey, one of them was mine. didnt know sedo used it to advertise
