Another one I have just purchased.

Cannot make out why the .co.uk extension is one off the few left on these las vegas domains

Either they have been missed or they are all no good.

Took a gamble as always

No being serious for some reason I like these vegas ones and will probably develop them all at some point.

My feeling would that it's because the .uk and Las Vegas are a bit odd together. Apartment is more American too so it's quite an American domain but with a uk extension.

Yes I know what you are saying about the .co.uk extension but normally on any half decent domains the .co.uk is gone if the .com and .net has.

What I was meaning to say on some of the 5 vegas domains I have bought -

lasvegasapartments.co.uk
lasvegasjobs.co.uk
lasvegasclubs.co.uk
lasvegaslive.co.uk
vegashomes.co.uk

Even the .eu and .me had gone on these domains as well as the big ones but the .co.uk were left for the taken.

I would have thought that the .co.uk would have gone especially if the other extensions were already bought.

Just does not make sense to me, I have searched hundreds of domains over the last 3 months looking for half decent .co.uk domains but normally if anything they are sold first along with the .com and .net.

Good luck with this name. It looks great.

Perhaps the reason .co.uk was available is because there's very little search volume from the uk for 'las vegas apartments' - only 91 last month, though 22,000 worldwide. Las Vegas is undoubtedly a holiday mecca, but are many people looking to buy apartments there from the uk ?

I've just had a quick look and LosAngelesApartments, SanFranciscoApartments, WashingtonApartments and AthensApartments are still available in the .co.uk. I'm sure there'll be many more.

re. eu, perhaps a european fancied a punt.

re.me's with all the over-hype, everybody is buying everything ! - perhaps americans.

It does look a nice name though, and you've landed a great city, despite the low exact match, so all the best with it.

You may have landed on a beauty if a property company gets involved.

Yes I know there are lots available in certain states but not ones that I would invest to much time in.

I originally was searching for florida and orlando apartment domains and they were both taken.

I then looked for hollywood and also out of luck. Just out of chance I thought I would have a look at lasvegas and that is how I happen to buy it.

I think that you may be right and if not now in a few years time there will be someone that will be willing to pay a few quid for this, property developers or big time share companys.

Who knows but I feel it was definateley a good find
