Seems to have been down to about 1pm judging by my stats (or lack of them).

Apache has been serving since the move perfectly. I've rebooted it in case of any problems - but it looks likely that it was just a network flap with our upstream providers.

Please let me know if you notice the site not working again, and if you can provide any more information such as the time scale of the occurrence and an accurate time stamp then I can try and be of more assistance.

I've just cleared a whole load of I.Ps from the hardware firewall - can you give it a try now?

Hey Guys,

Are you using o2 or BeThere as your broadband provider?

We've had a ticket open with our upstream provider regarding connectivity with bethere / o2 since last night. They have finally conceded that there is a routing problem in London, and that there is big packet loss and slow connectivity.

For now, we've turned off their routing - so all routes will now flow out through our other providers. Hopefully this should fix your problems.

I've given a few people in this thread a call, but I'm not sure what your account details are - so I can't!

Ares is serving your e-mail, and your website correctly. The problem is a routing problem in London with Cogents bandwidth which started last night. We have a ticket open with them, and they have acknowledged that the problem is affecting many people. For some reason they haven't updated their status website : http://status.cogentco.com/

We have moved as much traffic as we can over to different bandwidth providers, but some providers like 3, o2 and bethere are all still having routing problems.

I know it's frustrating, and we are chasing up on the problem but your website isn't "down" to the world.

If you find this isn't the case - and your site is down globally then please contact me with your domain name/s, as this must be a different problem.
