I know what you mean, but actually I have to disagree slightly as it depends on the type of end user. I don't think in the current UK IT/tech market that many 'end users' really equipped with the knowledge to understand the current, or potential value a good domain will add to a business.
*Good* domainers are consistently much better at *guessing* a domains value than others (I prefer the word estimating to guessing )

Clearly there are different views about what makes a good domain.
Domainers can guess at prices, only end users know the actual value to their businesses
