This year, participants spent three days in Riga, taking part in sessions and panel discussions on key topics in cybersecurity and law.
One of the most interesting sessions was the panel discussion “DNS on Steroids”. Experts, including Helmuts Meskonis, of Domain Summit and Hostmaria, also the advisor for it.com Domains and the owner of the Acorn Domains and DNForum, delved into the ever-evolving Domain Name System (DNS).

The panel discussed traditional DNS and also the emergence of new generic Top-Level Domains (gTLDs) and their growing impact on the domain market. Experts highlighted both opportunities and challenges for businesses and consumers, with a focus on the potential for innovation in decentralized internet addressing.
The it.com Domains team took an active part in the event agenda. In addition to sessions on various Internet security issues, it established connections with leading Latvian companies, such as NIC.LV, and shared with participants the our experience in protecting .it.com domains from cybercrime.
