Is Stella Fair or Ivan Ballard on here

Spend your time sending them on a wild goose chase, that's what I do.

It's far more fun than deleting emails and ensures that even just once they get the message.

No worries. I wanted to see the expletive message and was disappointed when I didn't get it. :(

Just use lowercase for the email address and it should show up. Just a simple preg_match. Think I'll have to add Stella, but it's certainly stopped Ivan & Donna. Not had one through the contact form for weeks... sure they'll change tactics eventually!

Further to my comment, I replied to one with a unique email address and did indeed get a response from emailmovers.com.

Wonder if there any laws being broken they could be tackled with.

Can't believe they get away with it. Must be against the law otherwise surelywe'd be receiving an infinite number of similar?

One thing I can't understand is why they aren't rotating names - I've been getting emails from these 3 names since 2011 and they mostly just get filtered straight into the bin.

I'd like to have a face to face with those two!
Think I'll do some seo baiting on them as I have too many addresses they spam to get removed.

They're back with a vengeance today, had a load of these:

Here's a fun way to deal with them:

Hi Silvia!

Wow, that sounds great! I’d love to be on the front page of Google and could use the extra traffic to my site! In fact, I’d be willing throw some money at that!

I can’t have my name associated with this, as you can no doubt understand, so could you please get in touch with our head of marketing, Andy Gujral [email protected], and work out the details? He’s expecting your email.

Also, I’m going to be on the road and out of touch for 10 days, so if you do run into any confusion with Andy, just tell him to get in touch with my executive assistant, Donna Gabriel [email protected] and mention “Project P”. She’ll know what to do.

Thanks again, Silvia! I’m really looking forward to getting started, and watching my traffic GROW!

Regards,
Matt

Now, just sit back and wait. After a while, you’ll start getting back discussions happening between Silvia, Andy and Donna trying to figure out what’s going on and asking for clarification (politely, of course — because, well, you’ve still got that bucket of money):

I have a few from these aswell today :) ive now blocked 121.161.*.* from the server so hopefully that will stop them for a while.

Can anyone actually even get a reply from them?

I've tried a few times saying 'sure send me details' and never heard anything back.

You are in a long queue mate, they are inundated with responses to their generous offer

Are their names registered? I might put a site up in their names with a guestbook where everyone can leave their best wishes.

Wow - that's pretty sad. They're so used to not getting responses that they don't bother with the ones they do get.

Re Emailmovers, today a "Katie" from 01723 800027 rang us to follow up the lead we sent through to one of their many sites.

She suggested that they buy leads from Customer Jump, but I can't find any information about them anywhere, so probably just a red herring.

In addition to the sites I posted before, we've since had spam from:

http://www.eprospect.org/campaigns
http://www.eprospect.org/append
http://prospectdirect.org/appending-services
http://nextquote.info/email-rental
http://hubmarket.org/specialist-data-hub

Under the names Hollie Findley, Abbii Wright, Grant Robertson, Grace Brown, Mel Sheppard and others.

Anyone else getting this too?

Suspect this might be Katie here:

Okay I managed to get a reply from "Stella Fair". This was addressed to the name I replied from, so 100% certain that this is a direct response from Stella Fair spam being replied to.

Dear x,

Would you like to promote your website www.y.co.uk on Facebook and Twitter and get onto the 1st page of Google using Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)?
We're a London based SEO firm called SEO150 (www.seo150.com) and we can do SEO for only £150 per month, per domain, for 30 keywords, with no set up fee and no fixed term contract. We can also quote you for Social Media Marketing as this is a bespoke service.

We've got 37 clients to the first page of Google for their keywords and we can get you on the first page too. We're signing up 3 new clients a month just through positive recommendations from our existing highly satisfied clients! We can provide examples of our clients on request.

Using SEO to be on the first page of google is the most profitable internet marketing strategy there is. You can make your website hugely profitable using our low cost SEO service.

As you pay monthly for our services and there is no contract we have to show you constant progress and then keep you on the first page otherwise you will leave us.

Our Service:
- Our SEO services cost only £150 per month (£5 per day) for 30 keywords with no set up fee and no fixed term contract.
- We're a UK company and you'll have a fully dedicated UK account manager to talk to whenever you want. We can even visit you. We've got so much experience with the internet and ecommerce that we regularly help clients with all their other internet related requirements too!

Our Process:
- First we'll ask you to chose the keywords you want and our SEO team will analyse them and provide our suggestions too.
- Then once you've selected your keywords from our analysis we'll SEO your website by making it search engine friendly and link building.
- Then you can sit back and watch your website jump in the search rankings and soon onto the 1st page of Google!

I really like speaking to potential clients so please feel free to call me on 0208 674 3559 or drop me an email.
I want to make your business a success by getting your website on the first page of Google. I've done it for my own businesses and for so many of my clients. I can do it for you too.

thanks,

Neil
