Wanted: Website Review Increasing an affiliate site

Hi All, looking for a review of this site as to how I can increase the affiliate conversions.

site set up from scratch so a completly new first effort on the affiliate side of things so currently pleased with efforts but would like to press on now.

thoughts on layout etc.

Do I need additional content etc

Completely open to ideas

Im on my iPhone but from what I can see the design is poor as is the layout.

I suggest you invest some time/money into a better design.

Sorry to be harsh but far too many ads on there imo and the content isn't great.

Also, your header and footer are aligned to the left but the main body of the website is centred.

If you wrap the entire website in <div id="wrapper"> and use the in the css:

#wrapper {
margin: 0 auto;
}

That should sort it out for you (nb: this won't always work if you are testing the site on a local machine, needs to be live)

You have used ads by Google at the top of your site a, i think you should not do that.

Thanks, i've been considering more content and i'll get this done to build up the depth of the site.

Ad wise that the particular template i'm using, does convert @7% clicks

all in all a tidy up needed.

looking for some good plugins to add some life into the default template

Use a big bold graphic with a good call to action. It's not a perfect example, but the Compare Prices button on my computer monitors site illustrates the principal.

Remember to show the benefits to the visitor clearly, e.g. use bullet points, and then big and bold is the way to go.

Also, use nice graphics to help conversions, e.g. I have used merchant graphics on this men's shirts site.

In my opinion, this theme would work much better for you (with a few small changes like Leeroy says).

did take a look at the one also, not really being a WP developer looked a bit of a handful, other than the golf images didnt really do it for me
