A bit outside the normal .co.uk remit I know, but I'm sure there must be others with a toehold in the IDN namespace.

Basically, really great news for IDN domain portfolio holders. It secures their investment, and allows them time to decide if/when to pick up the full IDN versions of their domain names without incurring additional costs in the interim (Nominet could learn a few tricks from that with .uk)
Now it's just a "waiting game" until the new extensions actually go live. Will be very interesting to see if there will be "instant typein traffic" waiting once domains can be typed in fully in a single language.
