Damn, I was called away before it started to deal with a spider , all I caught of the show was where you said, best one is a sledge with handles and plastic bottom, then it finished

Cheers I was shocked myself when I got the email and then the telephone call !

It was a combination of 2 things that Radio 2 liked about the site (BTW they didn't actually say "we have come to you instead of sledges.co.uk")

1. The story behind why the website was set up http://www.sledges.org.uk/aboutus

2. The stock aspect (a very unique USP)


Besides sledges.co.uk is a dated website (in my opinion) and it may rank above my site at present, but mine has been going a few months - their's has been going for over 10 years, and I have also put miniscule effort in mine in comparison to their website as their's has been a full time family business for over 50 years.

The best part about my site, is the reason behind creating it is 100% true - I didn't do it to make money, as TBH the amount of time put into this project has truly outweighed the money it will make to make it profitable.

Not everything has to be done to create a profit anyway, especially if it does help out other frustrated parents and disappointed kids So if anyone else feels like helping me spread the word, then please give the website either a backlink or a mention on Facebook or Twitter.

Well i missed it live, but just caught up on it which was nice as i am

in Bucharest in my hotel suite with a smile on my face with radio 2 playing

Feels kind of like home especially with mention of .org.uk`s

Yeh I felt great hearing Radio 2 primetime reading out a .org.uk name !

Nah I ain't got a face for radio, as I said to Rob earlier : "Well I wouldn't want to break the typical image of a domainer /web geek, so I decided not to show my face"
