You would do better with Disputing if you was going through the process and documented it, advertised companies thus making it a valuable earning resource.

Sorry to sound dumb but what do you mean?

Ryan

I mean going through the process of disputing a focal point. Be it PPI or Bank Charges, Actually disputing something. If a detailed blog of exactly what done, what was replied to, what was happening etc. It would create a valuable resource and generate traffic and potential leads.

I dont think i want to do anything with this domain apart from selling it on to be honest, I was just wondering if it was a good domain or not and if it had any value?

Actually Skinner is on the money here.

Make a site with information about disputing. ie

How to dispute bank charges
how to dispute mobile bill
how to dispute gas/electric readings & bills
how to dispute ppi
how to dispute insurance claim
how to dispute refunds & rights

The list goes one, you could make some nice adsense $$ there imo if you do it well.

Hmmm maybe, I dont really have the time at the mo, for another site, though it is really a good idea, I would just like to sell it on, any of you like it ? lol or a guide price to what it is worth as is?

With respect if anybody had really liked it they would have registered it.

I wish i could sell my .info name, it has over a million uniques but got told it was worthless, it is on sedo but no offers

You only registered this name on the 14th August, it must be very frustrating for you this domain game.

I may of only on the 14th but the whole point of this thread was about wasting money on rubbish names and I reg that ask what it was worth but i got told on here by some members it wasnt worth anything, and had no interest on here when i put it up for sale,
Im new to this and yes it is frustrating trying to get on your feet in this game of domains and not waste money but make some money

There are members trying to either sell names or establish values on domains they have held for 5 years or more. Now, if you can't work out by now where you are going wrong, you either have a hidden agenda or it's going to be a long hard learning curve.

how have i got a hidden agenda when im asking what these domains are worth?

this has got so off topic, all im asking now after people asked what domains i had was what are these domains worth, ie disputing.co.uk and even tho it was a .info did train-times.info hold any value as it had over a million exacts or was i wrong in buying them

Waiting for a walk-in sale usually only works in 2 cases:-
A) You have a vast portfolio (= lots of hooks in the river) such that you're bound to catch a fish from time to time, even if you won't ever know which particular hook will get nibbled on (that's our model - in our case, 6,500 "hooks")
B) You have superb quality, highly commercial names that get regular typeins, and correspondingly also regular offers

But waiting with just a handful of poor to so-so quality names for a sale to come means you'll be waiting pretty much forever, and the problem is that the clock doesn't tick for free in the meantime, it ticks at 1 renewal fee/year...

OK,......but yet again, what do you think they are worth, this is what im trying to find out

The train times ones are worth nothing at all. It would take too much development for anyone setting up a train time information website, and too much money, for them to bother to start with such a shaky "foundation" in the form of such poor domains.

thats what I thought, but I thought might be forth a punt as it has so many exacts a month, ok that one out of the way what about disputing.co.uk

I'd say the train ones were worthless, especially on here, where there are far far better domains going for a few pounds.

I'm not terribly convinced by disputing either tbh. It would be a hard sell to anyone. The time required to develop would be better served on something else.

anyone wanna do me a favour and buy me out!!! lol

I can see it's still not sinking in... based purely on the names you're posting, there's nothing to "buy out" as they're not worth regfee (at least on here).
