Looking to diversify where I host my sites. Wanting to host a basic wordpress site that won't use much resources. As hassle free as possible... I send you 20 quid and you send me the cpanel or FTP info and nameservers.

Hoping to do a few different deals with different members.

If you drop me a PM with the domain you want to use I can sort you out a hosting account on a reseller (heart Internet) package I have.

Can I ask why you would want to do this?
If it's for the reason I'm thinking (interlinking your own sites from different host IP's) then google are already wise to that. Still, I'm happy to hook you up with a cPanel account for ONE wordpress site. Send me a PM. I can give you UK based or US based or both.

You're telling me if I create a domain name using some random Whois information (random in relation to anything else I own) and host it on an entirely different server than anything else I've ever used, that Google will still know it's owned by the same person as my main site?

No, that would work i'd imagine.

But why would you want to have random whois for domains you own unless it was for black hat purposes. The domains I own are in my own name, can't see any reason why they should not be, they are mine.

I think you may have answered that when you agreed it would work for the purpose outlined!

There's a difference between ensuring you are able to get some link value from your own sites and what you call 'blackhat'. I don't build spammy sites and sell Viagra links or anything like that. I build resourceful sites that I expect to rank well and earn me money independently.

But I'm also more than aware of the power of a well thought-out link... Hence this thread.

My point was the use of random whois info in your domains, you can easily lose a valuable domain because of incorrect whois, it's happened before.
I didn't mean "blackhat" as in dodgy, I don't think it's dodgy, it's common sense to milk your own link juice, why shouldn't you, but google does not like it. We shouldn't care what google thinks but they are the big brother of the interweb. Don't be evil my arse :)

Send me a PM I'll hook you up with a cPanel account on a UK server.
