New domainer here, after reading a few eBooks and purchasing one of the Gene Pimmental courses I have now acquired the following portfolio:

I can't comment from experience, having never tried Flippa myself. But clearly some domains do sell on there, so if the inventory's a fit you might get a sale.

Personally i don't think it's the worst set of domains for someone starting out that I've seen posted on here, however i don't think most of these are good. You might be able to flip cheapskiweekends.com or washingtonchiropractors for a small profit with some end user contact perhaps.
The rest i wouldn't have bothered registering but then some .com sales do surprise me!

It's not true, don't worry. More to the point plenty of end users still want them. The best way to make money from here is to get Googling and emailing potential end users. Washingtonchiropractors.com is the obvious one to start with (possibly the only one or one of two). But if you can sell that for 1k you are in the game.

Also worth remembering that GTLDs (.com, .org etc.) can't be transferred for the first 60 days after registration. That's an ICANN limitation.

For completeness: The thousands of silly domain extensions that came along recently are usually known as "new GTLDs" (to distinguish them from .com, .net, .org etc. i.e. the established extensions that pretty much everyone has heard of)

My advice is buy domains really really slowly, be really picky about what you buy. The last thing you want to do is keep buying domains imagining you are making money. You aren't until you start selling them, which is the hard part. It is good advice to contact end users, you need active marketing to sell anything.

Yes I agree I have definitely rushed into some of these. Two strategies I have used is using Google search terms (<10,000 per month) and looking at expired lists. Many argue that there isn't much left of the first method and that companies with good software pick up all the good expired lists.
What are your thoughts if you don't mind me asking?

try and sell them, and that will tell you how hard domaining is now. I would expect you to find them quite hard to sell, which will then demonstrate that you have to be very careful over what you buy.

Don't waste any time and energy on the others except maybe just a tiny bit on cheapski. The rest are probably a loss, so just move on. Try to learn as much as you can about what really has any value, and think quality vs. quantity. You're better off spending $3k on one really good domain worth more than that vs. 30 domains for $10 that will leave you holding the bag.

Maybe chiropractors.com? You are joking, right? Just messing with the Yank a bit, ay? Or do you not have chiropractors there across the pond? $10k is a bit ambitious for the other one, but that's where you start, and you are happy with $x,xxx if you can even sell it, including low $x,xxx. If he (or she?) wants to start at $5k, not the end of the world either, but $10k is not unreasonable at all to a solid chiropractic firm. And do I need to even say what kind of parties one should be contacting? None of these domains are a slam dunk but that one at least may be salvageable.
