Wanted: Domain Appraisal hangout.london

Hi,

I bought this domain thinking of building a forum or advertising website (providing search feature of hangout places in London area).

However I don't have time to setup the site now and thinking of selling the domain instead.

Just wanted to know whether you guys think there is any value on this domain.

dot London dosen't have any traction at the moment - dosen't mean it wont (or indeed any of the dot NEW) carry some in the future.

equally the word "hangout" really is just a casual term - dosen't have any commercial traction - in fact normally refers to people with NO Cash = hence "Just Hanging out"

= NO VALUE

LondonHangout.com/Uk's are available and make for more logic (plural in .com)

That old chestnut.
If you don't have the time to set it up why would anyone else.
And if they did contribute time and money to develop what amounts to a business, I would think they would simply register a name to do it , there are thousands of alternatives.
Wishful thinking this one.

I accept the criticism for my post.
The point though that I tried to make was that a prospective user of the subject domain could register hangoutlondon dot uk


Although I do believe that a naïve new domainer can register a name, then find an equally naïve buyer and because of his lack of overall knowledge coupled with his deluded enthusiasm for his discovery ( a discovery that mysteriously nobody else has thought about ) could complete a sale.

It's an OK name, which might be suited to some kind of social meetup type site.

However, convincing someone to buy it from you to put it to use will be difficult. I don't see it as that valuable.
