I believe it was sold as a .co.uk, so I'm a bit confused as there where only 9,900 local searches for the keyword last month. Globally, it was 823,000.

How does a average interest keyword sell for that much?

Or am I missing something? (I am new to all this)

Also, I have a .org.uk domain name with similar searches. Does that mean it could be worth anything near the same?

Confirmed as sold through Sedo, I have updated http://www.domainprices.co.uk/ to include a few others such as GolfCourses.co.uk for £11,500 - I would have expected more on that one!

Search volumes are not the only value indicator....
