there's probably 8 or 9 domains on that list that would raise a domainers excitement to see as 'free to register' and even then expectations of a sale above mid £xxx. would be in the minority - lets not forget quite a few escrow services including Sedo , claim the fact that they handled the Escrow as there being one of their Sales.
They key to good sales value (outside of the obvious generics)- has always been in identifying your buyer and his anticipated potential value in the domain. Work that many wouldn't put in.
I think we in the UK have always been guilty of seeing uk domains as part of a World stage - hence the common comparisons with Gtld prices.
I personally think It's one of the reasons Nominet want to run with the second level .UK domain. To try to bring our domains more into the obvious Global extension . ie thinking ahead.
Don't get me wrong I also accept the Nominet cash-cow picture
