Had some respectable offers on www.gold.co.uk from "Acorn Members" over the past week, so far the top 3 bids on here sit at £85,000 / and two £100K (not too shabby). Also had some interesting domain trades plus cash for gold.co.uk offers too.

I have a feeling that by Monday / Tuesday that we could see gold.co.uk go to a new home - When dealing with larger companies its always a waiting game so we'll see what happens....

There are three+ great angles:

(1) Scrap gold

With gold prices at all time high's its a good time to capitalise on the name. I cannot understand why one of the TV advertisers doesn't get in on the action...especially with their margins.

(2) Jewellery

People love to wear gold and buy gold rings etc, so its perfect for that market.

(3) Generic

Need I say more.

IF I had the spare capital, I might be interested, but I'm fully committed over the next 6-12 months...good luck with the sale.
