What purpose does it have? Who would buy it?

You could have a giant counter on there which keeps increasing along with areas for each country/continent which each have increasing/decreasing numbers...

Maybe even some political/humanitarian stories for AIDS, Darfur, piracy etc.

Undeveloped it's probably not worth a lot.

OK, but it's not that suitable for marketing a product, which means the domain isn't particularly valuable. A low value domain IMO.
