I think they're lunatics for paying that price.

I had dealings with the previous owner, always playing the sales process and prices up, by making out other buyers were lined up ready to go, when in fact he had nothing.

Hype, publicity and alleged sales are common. We were informed back in Februaury that cruises.co.uk has sold for $1m. The buyers are using the domain but the registrant has not changed.

Sedo.com had the best non .com sale, #5 GiftIdeas.co.uk, at $37,950.

Poor Brand Strategy!

This glow company has some buying technique :-?

Absolutely, as their brand strategy is all over the place! I completely over estimated them when thinking The Glow Company had naturally bought Glow.co.uk. It appears they did not buy Glow.co.uk, but they bought Glue.co.uk for 6k to sell a peculiar product to say the least! (see Glue.co.uk Thread!). Now GiftIdeas.co.uk for 25k. Glow.co.uk would have been a much more significant and worthy investment for them. It would have strongly protected the Glow brand, and increased the brand's value by a significant amount.
