Wanted: Domain Appraisal Geotagged Domains - What do you reckon?

Hi All

I'm not looking to sell them at the moment, but what do you think of these two domains I have:

geotagged.co.uk - Travel info. This website is for sale!
geotagged.eu

I bought them after seeing geotagged was one of the most popular tags on flickr. With the growing popularity of gps, I hope these could have some potential. What do you think?

Anyone got any comments about these domains? I reckon they're pretty good. I could develop them but geo-related sites aren't what I do at the moment.

Geotagged to me makes me think of prisoners with braclets on their ankles and not being able to go to far from their place of residance.

Doesnt do anything else for me

Its got loads of keywords there for god knows what.

If you can get the dot com of geotagged it would make a shit load of money from the prison service trust me.

That sounds interesting, do they imprint on the photo like date does on video then?

Every time a photo is taken meta data about the photo is recorded in the EXIF format, which can then get transferred to your PC with the photo. With GPS cameras this will include the GPS coordinates in longitude and latitude so that the exact location of the photo can be recorded. I am hoping that "GPS cameras" will become a common term, as I have a site which is under development at:

It sounds like fun, obviously it will have its serious uses but other than that, a few google maps later, additional info and there's a few hundred new sites and features popping up but as always, it's great to have domains but if you don't have the money you got to hope someone has the same ideas as you and does. So tags are a source as well, I really should get into blogging, just I'm lazy and got fed up last time.

I was just looking at the photos tagged with geotagged on flickr. It's pretty cool - anything tagged with geotagged you'll find a map link to the exact location.

Am I missing something here?

I went to the website and saw nothing apart from loads of words, click on the words you see some pictures.

Click on them and it loads up to a bigger size without any watermarks.

I used to be a techno geeks but I dont read as much now, years ago you could ask me what game got reviewed on page 79 of crash and what score did it get.

Nowadays page 3 sun tits and apart from business but I looked but couldnt see anything?

If from the list of popular tags you click on geotagged, then most of the photos then show a map link under the Additional Information section. Take this one for instance:

In the right hand column of the page you'll see "Taken in Brighton and Hove City, England (map)", and a link to the Yahoo! map.
