Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but not much value to me either.

BritainTravel just doesn't really work for me. Two words next to each other, not two words which together make sense or are something.

GBNews, maybe a bit better. But for who? And who refers to GB very often, other than the sticker on the back of your car (OK, I know there are other uses, but UK or England/Scotland etc are much more prevalent)? It could obviously be developed into some sort of news site, but there is a lot of good competition.

Perhaps you could look for someone or a company with initials, GB?

So for BT... £0

For GBNews, maybe £xx if you're lucky or even very low £xxx if you can find or think of someone it has a use for, but not from me. Sorry.

Well, I have been in domaining since 2000, and have not received such a great appraisal. ;)

FYI:

DiscountTravel.co.uk was sold for $21,600+ (SEDO)

SeaTravel.co.uk was sold for $1,536 (SEDO)

carbonneutraltravel.co.uk was sold for $400 (SEDO)

PhotoTravel.co.uk was sold for $139 (SEDO)

I've rejected two low x,xxx offers for BT. :-D

Here is a small list of developed websites operating within the United Kingdom, and using "Britain" in domain names.

www.britainandbeyondtravel.com

Thanks again for your valuable time!

Then it does beg the question of why you would ask for an appraisal  you probably know more about gb names than mr GB whose speicalist subject on mastermind would be gb domains of the 2000 era.

That said, the key is in development as always. If i saw either name for sale at reg fee i wouldnt buy them TBH, but like everyone else thats just my opinion.

Phew.... Glad it's not just me. Please also note, I've never claimed to know anything about this!! :D

Then it does beg the question of why you would ask for an appraisal  you probably know more about gb names than mr GB whose speicalist subject on mastermind would be gb domains of the 2000 era.

Well,

I did ask for appraisals because I was thinking you people know more about these type of names.

Giving an appraisal value will not affect my domain's value, and I did not bash anyone for their views on these names.

I just wanted to give additional information since you people do not know about these type of names. :p

Please also note, I've never claimed to know anything about this!!

Well,
I have given the detailed info because you said:

And who refers to GB very often, other than the sticker on the back of your car?

Perhaps you could look for someone or a company with initials, GB?

Thanks again for your appraisals. I won't ask anymore.

Well, I have given the detailed info because you said:

Perhaps if you'd given the info up-front, you'd have had different responses, maybe not different figures though.

You've obviously researched GB domains etc. I was giving my 'gut instinct' reaction to a request for appraisals.

Thanks again for your appraisals. I won't ask anymore.

I don't think you've taken offense, but don't 'not ask' again just because this didn't go as you expected / hoped. Again, I'm not necessarily talking about values.

There are a lot of people here who know a lot about domains and who can and do help. I know, because I've been helped a number of times!
