Maybe there's some potential for others in there based on what kinds of games searchers are looking for? Would be quite long domain names though..

It has a comparable number of monthly searches to "cooking games".

Anyone interested in gamesforgirls.org.uk ? If so, PM me. (300,000 monthly local exacts for 'games for girls')..

Gamesforgirls.com sold @ sedo for $500,000 ..

go figure huh ..

.

Somethings just never seem to add up - And I guess we all have our thoughts, but all things outlandish attract attention, as Jordon (katie Price) would say

I think it's just an unappreciated area. Games sites are amongst the most popular in the world. Sites like miniclip.com and clearly worth multi millions, and while a domain name alone isn't going to get you there, it's a great start.

"Cooking Games" and "Games for Girls" are terms comparable in popularity to "Online Games". OnlineGames.com would no doubt set someone back hundreds of thousands if they wanted to buy it, so I don't think this is so different.

My belief is that these terms are unappealing to people here due to their theme, rather than their potential value.

If she was she was on a searchportal (domainsponsor) landing page and her PC was hit with at least 2/3 pop-ups ..

:)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts - Now I know I'm going to spend an hour or two turning over the pillow and running through some worthwhile logic - rather than indulge in my preference for sleeping - Cheers

oops it was girlsgogames.co.uk

Not far off the mark then :). Number 2 for 'games for girls' when google searched from the UK. Number 1, for UK search. Alexa Traffic Rank in GB: 1,368 . Not too shabby.

I have

onlinegames.co.uk
freegames.co.uk

That could be up for grabs if anyone is interested in trade/offers/jv ;)

Hi there!

I just noticed that we are having games4girls.co.uk. Would this be of interest to anyone? The domain has 160 to 200 mothly visitors.

Cheers,

Nika :)

Yes if it is GirlsgoGames (spilgames) there very big in game play they had announced a 15 % traffic increase for the site (do to the bad weather) so good time to sell it for them they have plenty of better sites and names though…
Just a different way of getting sort of partnerships in a way they fully localize so easy to sell off in different countries, able to spilt keeping core intact etc Then sell indervidually makes better ££££ , buyer prob still gets games from you more £££ then start up another "brand" more £££
