After opening a few wanted posts myself i find adding a budget does nothing really. People still PM you with silly over priced domain names way above your budget, even people who have been here a long time.

If "adding a budget does nothing really" then why do so many posts get pulled for not having one?

I do have a name that matches the requested criteria, but it may be too pricey, or it might not. That's what budgets are for.

This must be the longest running post with no budget on this forum.

I am just going off experience, for example i post a wanted ad for software names with a low to mid xxx budget, most PM's where above this mark, some crazily over it.

People don't listen to budget, you always see posts if you can raise your budget i have this or that, pointless really. If someone is interested in one of your names they with buy it or make you an offer.

Rules

I actually think the OP's response here is fair enough... I know what the forum rules state, but it seems kinda pointless when you get the same members posting shit for gold or others stating "if you increase your budget, let me know".

There's no point in having rules, when members can just ignore them, and then blame their behaviour on the behaviour of other members.

I'm also surprised that this thread hasn't been closed down already, or at least been given a warning, by Admin!
