Couldn't agree more mate. I have said it loads of times, I think Google wheel him out to confuse people. I don't think Matt Cutts knows he is Google's stooge, he probably thinks he has a real job there.

UK Payday loans? Been in a coma the last two years Matt? How hard is it too fix for heavens sake? I could fix it in 20 seconds... it's called a "report feature" for visitors to use. Someone at the other end on $10 a hour who looks at it and says yep, that is a dodgy site, clicks a button and gone.

I cant understand why the domain registration date is not taken into consideration in this niche to be honest. If the domain is less than xxx days old then its sent for manual inspection, afterall its getting hard to get a site to rank in niches with average competition let alone something as competetive as payday loans which pop up within a day of registration. :s

It would probably be easy to fix but then all the legit companies would rank and probably spend much less on Adwords, it's simple when you think about it.
