thanks in advance

I like it. Nice name for a coffee shop.
I don’t really see a business putting there hard earned cash into developing the name Trouble with “Brand” is there are millions to choose from?
Yes there are lots of things it could be as well as the above maybe more commercial would be shaving foam. Washing up liquid, soap etc something the visualisation of the word conjures up but the other something unsubstantial, trivial, or evanescent I believe may put real commercial buyers off? (also not being a com?) Brand is about a lot more than just being a word and short? The previous registrant had it since 1999 (twelve years) they also must have seen something in it but also maybe why they let it drop ?I think it's a fantastic name for the reasons people have already mentioned. There might be millions of brand names to choose from but there are not millions of short one word names that are both real words and would simultaneously work as a brand.

True had seen they own the com and net but they regged it in 1998 and wayback shows some interesting past somehow that makes me think they wouldn’t be parting with it for anything less than a substantial offerTrue, but this is a good starting point.
I think a lot of larger companies would be put off by not being able to get the .com too but for small to medium sized businesses with a few £xxxx to spend it wouldn't be too much of an issue.
In this case the .com has a site on it but it's a personal blog with very little content which was last updated in 2012. A prospective buyer may be able to acquire it relatively easily, it would certainly be worth asking.
