Free Campsites?

I am intrigued, were are they?

I am wondering realistically how many free campsites there are, I know you can go wild camping within reason and dependent on local restrictions, there are certain establishments that allow patrons to camp for free but I am not sure it would amount to many.

There are however organisations that allow people to camp for free in return for services so maybe that's the route?


In short if you can find enough there is some milage in this domain but as camping is big business at the moment I doubt there will be many willing to allow people to camp free of charge.

It's a play on words and possibly misleading but I suppose "free" could mean without restriction rather than without charge IE; wild camping?

Maybe camping suppliers etc would want to advertise/sponsor the site (only if it listed high enough and that’s a big if )Are people camping for free any companies target audience…. end user free means no money so unlikely to pay for it cant see any ground in it really
