Free bulk (up to 1,000 domains) appraisal for the fist member to respond to this thread.

Appraisal comes from Automated system with the results in an Excel sheet with 42 columns of data per domain.

PM me your email address so I can email you the report later.

Ready, steady, ....

Would you be willing to post 1 name's worth of appraisal publicly so that we can see what all the different criteria are?

Very quick service, 500 came through out of the 1000 list sent.

£1,254,310 'Appraised Value'
£72,190 'Wholesale'

Andrew.co.uk valued highest at £26k (assuming £ not $) and andreas.co.uk second highest at £25k

Fields are:
Domain Sld Tld Words Language Language Probability Appraised Value Appraised Wholesale Value Search Results Phrase Search Ads Phrase Search Suggestion Phrase Search Results Sld Search Ads Sld Search Suggestion Sld Fast Appraisal Using Previous Sales Data Pagerank Overture Tld Overture Sld Overture Term Word Tracker Sld Word Tracker Term Alexa Traffic Rank Alexa Trend Dmoz Listed Is Adult Trademark Type Trademark Term Trademark Company Trademark Risk Trademark Probability Com Taken Net Taken Org Taken Biz Taken Info Taken Us Taken Appraiser Version Keyword Type Avg Competition Avg Cpc Avg Search Volume Local Search Volume Similar Sales

output on 500th name was:
jgd.co.uk jgd co.uk jgd Unknown 0 1200 65 501000 0 501000 0 no yes 0 0 104 104 7 7 0 0 no no 0 0 yes yes yes yes yes yes 01/04/03 [jgd] exact medium 0.41 3596 260 -

Will have to tidy that up to see how it corresponds!

IMHO automated tools are rubbish, however data is data and all data has value. What value you put on & how you interpret it is the important bit :)

Are 'common' first names really worth that much? I would have thought around 10% of those prices at the most??

I'd like to see it check if the .org.uk and .me.uk were taken too. Does anyone take much notice of what else has been regged of different extensions?

I check if the higher and lower Tld’s and cctld.s are gone... suspect many do
Checking the lower cctlds would also give an indication of how popular the word was…? Possible advantage that at least your now they can’t get the name for reg fee …? If that would transfer to higher sales price I’m not sure but suspect it would… Lots of people check out the Tld’s regged and see if the cctld’s (co.uk de eu ) is available imagine many would find it useful
