It will be very popular with bridge fans, but is unlikely to be greeted with as much enthusiasm from domainers or web marketing specialists.

There could be some general news interest over the next few years.

Although the Forth Bridge is a rail bridge, there is also a Forth Road Bridge, which is struggling to cope with traffic, and a second road bridge is planned, well a third really, as there is another one already just upstream a bit, the Kincardine Bridge.

So, bridges over the Firth of Forth in general will be news over the next few years, with alternative routes, planning enquiries, etc

If you get in early with a blog for developments on the new crossing, maybe a forum for supporters to argue with protesters, etc, you could do quite well.

Maybe the new one will be called the Fourth Bridge!

Guys, thanks for the views. Ferryman; thanks for the tip off might do a bit more research and follow up on your advice. Either way, it was only reg fee so I cant really complain!
