What are the renewal costs / terms?

Normal price renewal. But at the moment normal price for .info is $2.99 at RegisterFly. I registered them hoping that I would at least get my money back in parking ($66 for 37 names). Any that look like winners, I'll keep. The rest can be dropped.

How do you get this price?

What I see is:

ON SALE! $2.99 / year

You need to be a member. When you do a search for a .info (when you are signed in), it should come up as available for $1.79. If it does not, try typing in: INFOSPECIAL at checkout (in the promotion code box). I've just tested it to make sure the offer is still valid, and was offered ghite.info for the sum of $1.79.

BTW: For people wanting to register multiple domains at RegFly, I would recommend they transfer money into their account beforehand, and then pay. Don't pay straight from your credit card since they invariably only register half the domains at the first go.

Why they only register half of what you order.

I have few domains with registerfly i would say they are not the right choice, their response is damn slow. I am trying to renew my domain for past 3 weeks and they are not accepting my card and not replying to my tickets which makes me feel that they want to renew it while its in redemption phase.Any ways coming back to topic i guess .com is no doubt a king but people outside uk wont consider .co.uk much and we surely can add some value to net and org.
Peace.

Many people have misconceptions

I think domain extension rankings go like this:
.com
.net and .co.uk
and then the rest

.co.uk is a very very good extension for type ins because of its high visibility. People actually use .co.uk in the uk and so do many of their top companies.

In my honest opinion I think many people should condider why every particular extensio has been created and how it`s currently used.

.COM is and always be the most important because it`s the most globally commercial extension despite somepeople think it`s american....

Then the .net .info .org have been seen like garbage but it depends how and why you use them.
For example a name cocacola.org would worth less than cocacola.org but what about hiv.org compated to hiv.com?
Plus there are so many things to say.

Biz is a replacement of .com and I personally don`t like it.

All the other ccTLD are increasing value constantly because they mean local presence, something priceless sometimes and I would never list co.uk over .us just because .us can count of 300 millions of people while UK does not reach the 100 millions

Then there are other factor like the language, the culture, ect.

New .EU market is developing fast.
In the last 48 hours 50,000 .EU names were put up for sale. I saw thousands of offers & probably hundreds of deals done.
There were 250,000 names registered at landrush, and probably another 500,000 later.

I already got several offers for my names well into the stratosphere!
Looks like .EU gonna beat .de & .co.uk

Looks like there is a new sheriff in town...

I cant see it beating a .co.uk .de or .fr because its a different market. Ie if your English and want to goto tescos you type in tesco.co.uk. The .eu cant surpass its country code equivalent. Sure it has a place but we will have to see what that is.

As for reg numbers theres somthing like 4 million plus .co.uk's so it still has a long way to go and will only slow down once the novelty wears off and really there should be atleast 4-6 times as many .eu as folks will reg all the different languages of the same words.
