Hi Guys,
got a question on .uk domains.
If for example i have a .co.uk domain and it expires say on 1st December (to make it easy) '07. If i don't renew it before that date, how long do i have before i lose it?
Reason i ask is, i have always renewed domains well in time or sold before.
Also with .coms etc it seems different with different registars, for example Godaddy steal it off you the second it expires and charge you a kings ransom to get back, whereas Domainsite are very laid back and auto renew and give you weeks to get round to it if you want.
Does it vary with UK registars? or is it laid down in stone with Nominet?
Always wondered about this and seem to remember reading about a 42 day buffer zone, or i may be wrong for .uk domains
Thanks in advance
