For anyone who want's to join the EPN (ebay) affiliate scheme here's their own guide as to how to do it to get the best chance of being accepted.

See here

Some v. useful hints and tips :)

I reread this and noted why my earnings may have tanked of late "It is also recommended that each campaign generates a minimum of 50-100 clicks in order for the QCP algorithm to calculate a steady daily EPC "

Good luck if you apply ( if you do, let us know how you got on)

Joining EPN was the biggest hassle EVER, since being accepted I haven't even used it. Just too much hoop jumping. The only thing harder than this was Yahoo Ad Network.

agree about Yahoo Ad network, used it once never to go back.

don't know why you don't use epn if you've gone through the process and been accepted. You can make good dosh if you've the right kind of sites (forget eb motors though, waste of time imo).

Yahoo wanted everything shy of a colonoscopic image.

I keep meaning to get around to using EPN but given the hassle to join (and new learning curve) I do well out of awin/por/af/mn to not have the will power.

I actually have some domains which are low traffic/exacts but are the kinda search terms that have very high conversion rates. You know like "House On Fire Help", you know any one searching for it, is likely in a house on fire so if you sell the fire brigade, its a guarantee'd sale kinda thing. Half of them have no other suitable affiliate either but masses on ebay.

Not exactly the appropriate place to ask but maybe push me on, can you deep link auctions ? Like by slapping &affcode=1939209 or whatever on the end ? That maybe of use for the new ticker I'm looking at implementing.

Not sure about deep linking, given that auction items only have a live period of (roughly) 7 days keeping track and updating the links would be a mare!
