Ownership issues? An .edu domain cannot be sold. For you to own a .edu domain you have to own the corporation that holds the domain.

Example: If you own Yale the Corporation you are entitled to use yale.edu because the corp holds the right to use the domain.

So you are buying a corporation, not the domain.

The domain in question is 12 years old, is grandfathered and it is the corporation entity that is for sale.
