It said:

L**.uk Caught (2 bids)
Theater.uk Caught (1 bids)
UKweather.uk Caught (1 bids)

To me, that says i won Theater.uk & UKweather.uk

and

L**.uk goes to auction because there are 2 bids

The terms and conditions are straight forward.

I checked the whois tags straight after 2pm and stated [Tag = OSTASHKO]

Just had this from Domainlore

It came to my attention that you are spreading misinformation on Acorn domains forum.

Firstly, did you receive permission from me to publish e-mail which I sent you?

Secondly - Theater.uk was a popular domain name (as you might guess, notwithstanding the fact that with so many great names it only attracted your pre-bid). It was loaded by the person who caught it on their own, without knowing there was a pre-bid on DomainLore.

Do you expect this person to sell the domain to you for £50? They have no reason to sell this domain at all.

Please remove your posts where you are insinuating any foul play.

That's fair enough, but it was a private request to catch, not public, so why is it being treated like a normal public prebid and you're starting off the auction

Was also an oversight to show "caught" on private request pages, easy to mix up that it's been caught on your behalf with the 1 prebid

All of domainlore pre bids say caught no matter who’s tag it is. You can see this on their pre bids page.

If someone decides to list it as here your lucky to have a chance to bid as most keep them.

Are you sure TAG said OST for both or was that just for your ukweather one?

Yes, the tag said OST for Theater.

BTW I've just received refund from paypal from dl and will be expecting another refund for £146 when paypal echeque clears.

dl account has now been closed down.

I guess thats the end of that, not sure if im still in auction as cant get access.

If i'm no longer in auction for L** (2 bids) does this mean the other bidder automatically gets the L** ?

Banned? hmm will you be getting UKweather.uk?

I do think the way the catch requests were handle is confusing, I can't find a .uk catch request t&c anywhere to see if this was all clarified

I should stop talking now though as I enjoy my domainlore account

That actually seems very harsh hope you get your weather domain caught if you want it just email and speak in person much better than airing here. Was always a good guy in my dealing on his system in the past. He has to much valuable shit to even bother ripping you off over a typo reputation is everything in this game I'd recommend having a chat.

I caught theater.uk on my tag CAMBRIDGE. I compiled my own list of domains to catch and theater.uk was on it. 3gmedia you must be mistaken if you think this domain was on any other tag, it was caught on the CAMBRIDGE tag and has remained on it ever since.

It sounds like this was just an unfortunate crossing of wires then. Maybe a good outcome would be for 3gmedia to be reinstated on DL, and for this thread to be deleted. I don't think there was any bad intent from either side, just a mix up and a bit of a panic. It's not my platform though of course, so it's down to the discretion of Denys.

*Some* members on the forum are too quick to judge, I think we

always have to extremely careful especially when criticizing people or a business in public.

Wait for the facts, be rationale, don't rush to judgement, try and resolve issues privately first,

mis information can ruin a person's business or reputation in an instant and in some cases the damage can be irreversible.

Best to show restraint, unless you have the complete facts do not publicly assume anything.

In Regard to the Ban, well it seems you implied something fishy was up so unfortunately no more hot soup for you. @3gmedia

Best thing is to apologize and move on

My opinion only,

This makes it sound like everything is cleared up, I'm going to repeat myself (I will shut up after this post)

"We will aim to catch just released .uk domains for you at a fixed cost of £50 each. To secure your bid you will need to deposit £6 per domain you'd like to target. If we do not succeed - the deposit is fully refunded. If there are more bids for the same domain, you'll take part in a quick public auction."

Is there a fuller T&C posted somewhere else?

It doesn't say "if we fail to catch for you and someone else posts your private request to auction, your bid, singular or not, will be applied to the auction"

If the intention was to do the above, why hasn't the full list of .uk requested catches been posted so we can start auctions if we wanted to?

If I post an auction now for one of the better domains I caught that will likely have been booked, will it auto start with a prebid?

If Jasman posted it to auction without the prebid counting I wouldn't have an issue because it would be separate from the private catch request

However, I will say again, having "caught" next to your private request and showing you're the single bid, it is going to confuse and raise suspicions when you're then told it's going to auction instead

I don't blame 3g for being annoyed; suggesting the domain was caught on Denys tag originally is naughty though

Yes, your post pretty much sums it up!

The tag issue i'm questioning myself about and wouldnt intentionally suggest otherwise.

As for ukweather.uk i havent had any notification yet about transfering the domainname, will just have to wait and see and keep you updated.
