I just bought a .eu domain name and I am wondering what you guys think of it, I am going to develop it in the near future but wanted to know your opinions and what would be a good (profitable) website format / niche.

Far be it for me to value such a domain but Id say undeveloped, probably, £10

Detracting from value is the fact that it's hyphenated and that .eu has not been the most successful extension. The main problem with this domain is that it's too general, as what's on for the whole of the EU is a large subject.

You mention the word niche and you would be best off to really think in terms of niches to make a successful site. Here are some examples of niche sites:

Free Netbooks

Mens Shirts

... they are highly focused into a particular product and this makes it easier for the sites to make sales and be successful.
