Domain Focus Pre-event for Acorn users.

Is the main event auction being split over two days or...what? I'm a bit confused about the Savoy process.

When is the Acorn thing? Friday?

Just to reiterate, the DomainFocus event itself is September 6th/7th, so our little gathering would be on September 5th (Wednesday).

Numbers are climbing and will be quite limited, so there won't be any possibility to sneak anybody in.

I have not heard much more on the Sedo event thing along with quite a few acorn regulars I have spoken to.

Is there an Acorn event open for people, can everyone on Acorn be accomodated into the Sedo event?

Could be worth knowing as its only 10 days away!

Just to keep everyone informed, this is what I have sent to people who contacted me/others at Sedo expressing an interest in coming:

On the 5th of September 2007, Sedo is organising a casual Acorn Domainer get together in the upstairs bar area of The Savoy Tup in London.


We would like to make this get together available to all Acorn Domainers attendees who are interested in joining. The evening is planned to start at 8pm. We would like to invite everybody for a couple of complimentary drinks and snacks in a comfortable environment, where everyone can relax and get to know domain industry colleagues. The bar will announce when drinks are no longer complimentary. Space is limited, so we are asking those interested in joining, to send an email confirmation to [email protected] to reserve their place.

The pub is a couple of minutes away from The Savoy Hotel. The address of the gathering will be at: The Savoy Tup - 2 Savoy Street, off The Strand, Strand, WC2 0BA.

We look forward to drinking a couple of beers with everyone, including yourselves J
