Does anyone make good money from Adsense?

...I know this may be a rare occasion where he has obviously found a couple of unexploited niches...

Rare indeed.

The number of times I've read or seen a word or phrase I've never heard before, then got back home to see if the domain version is available, only to find that the last of the com/net/org/couk was registered by someone back in about 2002! :-?

I was thinking about this today...

Isn't $300 a day fairly easy to sum to make if you have 50, 75 or 100 sites ?

These people who say "How I made £300 off google", they don't say "I spent 5 hours finding each of 100 domain names, and 3 months making 100 websites all earning £33 avg per day, so read how I made £300 a day!", probably because all that work doesnt seem like its worth it heh.

I was originally thinking this too, increase the number of sites & hey presto, but apparently (of course) Google counter this by having a "smart pricing" system, so if you have a poor performing site on your adsense account it drags down the earning per click on all of your sites.

I'm beginning to think the way to make a good chunk of cash from adsense is to have a handful of sites with good content & reasonable traffic & to build those up.

Maybe?

Charlie, I think so, about 70% of my sites are uk focussed, so I can allow some US adverts. What sucks is they are not contextually accurate tho so I'd only use them if adsense isn't possible.
