I'm the same, had new mobiles but always revert back to my nokia brick from the 90's. Indestructable. Where I live I get no mobile signal so just keep a mobile in the glove compartment in car just in case. A tenner top up lasts me a year

You should try crossing the rainbow bridge in New York-Niagra, going TO to NY takes 45 minutes, from NY back to TO takes about 30 seconds, they don't even look at your passport or anything. Its just have a good day in canada sir.
