Wanted: Website Review Do datafeed sites still work ?

Bit of an experiment here.

Just whacked in four datafeeds to Funny T-Shirts

Any predictions on if the site will ...

1) fall flat on its face
2) generate a trickle of long tail traffic and more than pay the reg fee
3) do OK ?!
4) let me pay my mortgage off by the end of the year

As it is, answer 1
If you move the menu items and replace with categories, then spend a couple of hours tidying it up and adding relevant bits to it & light seo, then answer 2 or maybe 3?
But never in a million years answer 4

I have a few. Sold a £3,000 bathroom once so that was a nice commission. You will need a lot of traffic to make money on T-Shirts, but it is a popular purchase, my daughter bought some online at the weekend.

I take the view if it adds some traffic to a domain and covers the reg fees it's OK. Be careful not to spend hours on the sites though, I've done that a few times.

Datafeed websites do work - but it depends on the authority of the domain.

If you have a fresh domain and whack 20k+ pages of duplicate product feed pages then Google will just filter it out.

How much SEO effort have you put in to the site? Success will only come with good SEO IMO.

can you share stats? is the website getting traffic and not converting or is there no traffic?
