Hi all,

Cant believe what i picked up on the drop yesterday:

DigitalWales.com

Talk about good fortune.

Anyway, i have it forwarding to Digital.Wales

:cspopcorn

I must admit, despite owning some wales/ cymru names, I do prefer the sound of DigitalWales.com to Digital.Wales. It's nice to see someone have the confidence to forward an old tld domain to a new one though, instead of vice versa which seems to be very common.

the scope of .com version is way beyond the physical area i,e Wales.
i don't think merging it with .wales is a good idea

To me this is more of a tradebody / governmental support name than one that is overtly commercial.

Your correct! Thats where the money is in Wales. Most businesses are too tight (mean) to part with a large amount of money but the Welsh gov will throw a serious amount of money to a decent project. There are grants available to do almost anything that educates and promotes Wales, thats why I've registered many of these type names such as project.wales , b2b.wales , start.wales , etc

Thinking outside the box!

In many ways the fact it was a drop says it all, but its always amazing hearing the delusional back slapping and congratulation on a domain, that is perceived as having some real quality, value and innovation in your naive minds.

There's just no real use for it, its junk. If you can't understand that, google digital wales and you'll see why.

You think I'm crazy I know.. that's fine.

Do you believe this because of gov.wales? I think there could be other non-government buyers out there.
