As everybody knows that,

that is why it is worth for some feedback to include weaknesses in the .uk consultation process as that will be taken into account in the decision,
as those Directors don't want their future blotted by the fact they did not do it right!

I refuse to engage in the minutiae of a proposal that is being forced upon us just because it is inevitable and there is nothing I can do about it. My response is reasonable.

That's fine, you're perfectly entitled to do so. In any case, the amount of influence any one commentator can have on the process is extremely limited (remember, V1 had over 700 responses so each "voice" is worth a bit more than 0.1% if the points they made were being weighted equally)

In actual fact, the value's higher, because views fall into different "buckets" (Nomensa grouped most feedback into 6-10 broad categories for each question) so each view in agreement with the overall view of that particular "bucket" contributes a higher % to that bucket. But it's still fair to say that any given person's feedback is pretty un-influential.
