Had a quick check and couldn't see it mentioned elsewhere.

Had an email and *********** now give its pro members 30 days droplists, and the basic users droplist has grown from 2 days to a whopping 2 weeks.

Worth a mention imo

I got the email too, not the only drop list service to claim to have the most comprehensive list. I wonder how can either be so certain?

I used to subscribe, but only 2 days with the standard didn't really add up for me.

I currently use domainview + domainlore, but DCE did sometimes have domains that the other 2 missed.

Depends how hardcore a domainer you are with it but 14 days for £25 seems reasonable now.

That's interesting, I wonder if it has happened the other way around at any point, domainview having listed domains that DCE have missed. DCE certainly present the data in a much cleaner format but that's not quite enough for me to want to pay the slightly higher subscription fee, however I can see DCE does come with other features that might be useful to like you say "hardcore domainers".

This made me look at DEC, does anyone know if you can extract a comprehensive list of uk domains from it? (or where a decent list of these is available - .co.uk most attractive but would like all .uk addresses including the restricted ones).

30 days maybe helpful if your game is contacting buyers to renew and sell to you.

If you are just catching (and not booking elsewhere) researching lists that far out that will have renewal updates come drop day is a waste of research time.

I find that the metrics for the domains, was hardly ever is complete, which was my main reason for subscribing....

I subscribed again for a month which has just elapsed and the data held was worse that before.

If it was sorted I'd be interested again

+1 for that..

They used to have google exacts, but it switched over to bing..

Bing exacts are no use to man nor beast so the most important metric for me - google local exacts I had to get myself.

Also with the pagerank, if they predicted pagerank based on number of links then it would be better than current pagerank as a lot of domains regain PR when a site is thrown up.

I wish they would switch back to Google metrics, but I understand they are principally opposed as they had their account suspended (then reactivated some time later).

Some of us need to research "that far out" to stand any chance of catching decent domains. Not everyone's system is as sweet as yours, foz!

I use forward name scheduling by a lot more than 30 days! If the domain is renewed, it just puts it in the queue again for next time!
