ComedyDVD.co.uk is up for sale. A strong generic DVD name and a fun site to develop if you enjoy comedy. The domain expires mid Feb, by which time I hope to have sold it. I would like to invite offers for two weeks or so first (until approx. 8th Feb), and if I get something interesting enough we can do a quick deal, otherwise I will probably put it up on DomainLore nearer to the expiry date.

Payment by bank transfer, buyer pays Nominet fee.

Can I ask how you arrrived / worked out the valuation of £700?

I find it very hard to value a domain unless its for SEO based on excat search only

For instance I have in the same niche?

aerobicsdvd.co.uk only 170 exacts (1600 broad)
ghostvideos.co.uk only 8100 exacts (14,800 broad)

and you have

comedydvd.co.uk only 590 exacts (5400 broad)

What would you value the above at? And how would you value them?

It's based on what I think the "market" might be prepared to pay, i.e. I think someone out there might be prepared to pay that much. At Christmas time comedians are always plugging their DVDs, and this is a very marketable name for someone looking to target this market. I am going to be listening to offers below my "hoped for" amount.

Your names are nice too but sorry I don't have time to value them at the moment. I don't go purely by exacts, there are so many more factors than that.
