At the risk of sounding like I am gloating (which I am not), I wanted to let the people who commented previously on this thread know that today I have sold one of the domains for £550. I guess you never can tell what a domain is worth until you find the right person

As you say, a million people can say the domain is rubbish, only takes one person with a bit of money to like it and you're golden.

But saying that, a broad appeal and many potential buyers is always better

It's always best to take domain appraisals on any domain forum with a pinch of salt. I reg'd Bhunk.com which was mocked on the appraisals section, just hope Hugedomains.com who drop caught it don't get the 1k + asking price, thinking about it it's not a shabby brandable in a very sparse 5L.com category.
