Any advice welcome

I think the desireability of four letter co.uk's (unless they're a known word or pronounceable made up word) is limited to there being a company with these exact initials in their name for whom the domain would be essential.

In this case it appears there is an Indian telecom company with these initials but presumably they are not going to have need for a co.uk domain.

There are loads of four letter co.uk's that are free to reg and dropping every day so without a specific idea of who you could sell this to I would say value is next to nothing unfortunately

Cheers for that, I will park it up and see what like the traffic is for a bit.
Have a great day
Steve

The huge numbers you're seeing is because you haven't configured the Google Keyword Planner correctly. BSNL is a giant internet service provider in India (which is where the bulk of the searches are from). If you set the Keyword tool to "UK only" you see a much more logical 3,600 searches and "low" advertiser competition, which is shorthand for "nobody cares about this keyword".

A Google search for...

bsnl site:.uk

doesn't turn up any likely buyers in the first few pages of results, which again suggests "nobody cares" since if it matched a key product or company in the UK they'd be there in the top results.
