Wanted: Website Review Boiler Insurance

Hello,
it's a standard wordpress theme (well, one that's been chopped around a bit), but what I'd be interested to know is:

1) Do you think the site suits it, or does it look like a wordpress bloggy thing?
2) Does it look okay in IE, etc.
3) The most important question - do you think the affiliate blocks should go in the sidebar as they are, or is there a better way to display affiliate links/banners/etc.

U have a boiler insurance page with ur URL ... Why are u watering down site equity with this: boilerinsurance.net/boiler-insurance/boiler-insurance lol

Think about your site architecture so u max out your exact match URL and don't run into any onsite duplication issues.

Also it's just super dull from a user perspective...

Make a comparison table on the home page and list out all the features and prices etc with click/apply buttons.

Screams affiliate site...

I agree, looks too much like an affiliate site. Make it more interesting to look at, tweak the overly bright blue colours, change the logo and mask the affiliate links for starters.

remove that horrid blue that is on the homepage #0E1457 ,that is a colour from bygone years,having ten types of one colour looks nasty....logo,border and heading are all of a different shade of blue and abuses my eyes,it needs more things going on....people will click away if it looks dull.

or sell me the domain/site

Anyway, maybe I'll overhaul it and add some nice stock images to make it prettier.

Well, it's now showing in the google results and is straight in on page 2 - maybe .nets aren't that bad after all, eh

I'll spend some time revamping the colours, putting the comparison table on the front page, and adding some images to make it look more interesting.
