Hi

I hope someone can help, I tried to park a domain name on Sedo, but was blocked becase it informed me that it was a trademark name, can anyone give me a site where I can search. I went all over the internet, found some trademark search sites, and there was no information about this name being a trademark.

Thanks

Thanks

No still nothing

But I have worked out maybe it contains a trademark, The domain name is Aol**.com, it was just a random 5 letter domain I bought from tdnam. It's not like aolcar, aolit or aolon. The two letter behind aol is not even a word, and it's a I found out my Aol** is used in different languages, so prob it's a word.

Would this be the cause of Sedo saying it's a trademark? because I searched Sedo, they've a lot of domains containing AOL.

Wonder what trademark searches do they use....

Yes, Aol* will be enough for a parking company's algorithm to block your domain.

Thanks Azooza,

Should I cancel the domain name, maybe to avoid legal actions.... :(

No not at all. Just because a parking company's TM checker rejects it, it doesn't mean it has to be a TM. Why don't you PM me and I'll tell you.
