Black Friday Sales - Anyone Looking for Bargains?

If anyone's feeling tempted into buying a SSD, the Sandisk Ultra II 960GB drive is just £149.99 on eBuyer at the minute. A quick Google suggests that reviews are broadly favourable for a budget segment drive (even the budget segment is way way faster than a hard drive)

Plus you might - I stress might - be able to get an extra 1.57% cashback if you shop via Top Cashback, as I explained in the first post in this thread (don't count on it - I'm not sure if it applies to Black Friday specials)

Ive got my eye on SAMSUNG RSG5UUMH, its the only American style fridge freezer i can find with a freezer capacity over 200 litre (within my price range).

Bought this today and saved a decent amount. Ended up getting it for £949

If anyone is looking for any large kitchen appliances and the price is over £1000 use LKA100BF to get an extra £100 off at currys.co.uk

Very nice! You've certainly got a lot of capacity there. I'm a fan of Samsung products, especially their monitors and mobile phones.

A bit late now but worth pointing out Top Cashback sells gift cards with 5% cashback including Currys, so presumably if you're about to spend £hundreds and you have time to plan in advance, you can load that amount onto a gift card and effectively save 5%.

I'm sure Amazon did the 960 Sandisk at £129. The 2tb Samsung Evo 850 SSD were like £460 I think.

The 240/250gb ones at £60 looked interesting, when I was knocking up editing box, I fancied using 4 small SSDs in Raid 0 for ultra speed, £240ish for 1tb could make that possible. Now I want to do it with 4x PCIe SSDs.

Edit: the 240gb were £39.99 one of amazons deals of the day.
